Training at One on One Gym is done in a very positive and fun atmosphere. I have been working out there since losing 65 pounds with the goal of losing another 20. With Dave's help I know that goal is achievable. I have been able to tone my body in places that I didn't think were possible. I even had a minor knee injury this summer and my workouts were adjusted so strain was not put on my knee while still having a good workout. I never do the same workout, different and sometimes unique exercises are used to focus on different muscles. For the first time in my life I enjoy to go work out - it doesn't seem like a chore! The best feeling is when I wake up the next morning and I am having a hard time driving, getting dressed, going up and down stairs, or even sitting. When that happens I know I had an awesome workout the day before!!!

One on One Training has changed my life!  I have gone from someone who planned on exercising and never did it, to the one who exercises DAILY!  Each day is very different from the one before, and I actually look forward to getting to the gym.  My trainer Dave knows ways to use equipment, in non-traditional ways to tone and reshape my body.  Using a combination of healthy eating and one on one training, I have lost over 70 pounds and kept it off! The trainers are not intimidating and are happy to be flexible and accommodating.  Initially I was very concerned about not bulking up.  Dave has followed through on his promise to make me look leaner and longer, not bulky and super muscular. Since coming to One-onOne I have lost over 100 Pounds. I highly recommend One on One training!

Dave set me up on a training routine three days a week, and counseled me on nutrition. I was hooked. I started to see and feel results after the first week. The trainers were encouraging, constantly motivating and pushing me to a level I never imagined I could get to. They spoil the clients by stretching them before and after the workout, and they hand you and take away your weights, so all your energy is used for your set. The trainers are very educated and knowledgeable in exercise physiology, anatomy. . Dave has been very selective in who his trainers are, and has chosen ones who seem to interact well with his broad mix of clientele.

My own results have been remarkable. I have gained 25 pounds of solid muscle, and strengthened my back and neck so that I am pain free at work. I can run without getting winded, and actually really enjoy it. I am 46 years old and feel like I am 26, and yes I can finally say that I have "abs"!  I feel 10 years younger since working out at one on one.

There has been an explosion in personal training facilities on thee North Shore since Dave opened, but what the others can't offer is expertise, professionalism, and originality that I have experienced at  One on One.
